Finale

Summoned to the jungles of Brazil by what she thought was a call for help, Supergirl searched for any signs of distress. She wandered the murky jungle for hours until she found her self knee-deep in a sinister pool of quicksand. At first she wasn't concerned, knowing that she could always just fly herself to safety, but before long she realized that she had somehow been mysteriously stripped of her powers. (including the ability to hold her breath for very long). She struggled, in confusion, to escape the deadly mire, but her plight was lost as she sank into a meticulously crafted trap. Her last few moments were filled with horror as she clawed around the darkness under the surface of the quicksand, until finally the mud rushed down her throat and flooded her lungs. Her body continued to sink and was never found.
